Pillars of Action
SULONG KABATAAN fulfills its mission through comprehensive programs that integrate leadership development, civic education, and practical campaign planning under the Basic Course.
Members participate in structured workshops and training sessions designed to strengthen their leadership competencies while equipping them with the knowledge and skills to conceptualize, develop, and implement their own message and electoral campaigns.
For those who intend to push it further, they may be eligible for an Advanced Course which requires them to read books and other materials, produce written and digital output, while receiving a modest allowance for these tasks.
Additionally, for the campaign portion of the program, the best campaign plans may be eligible for partial campaign fund subsidy.
Campaign and Political Messaging Workshops
SULONG KABATAAN equips its members with the practical knowledge and skills they need to communicate their ideas and engage with their communities with the aim of mobilizing them to take action, particularly to vote. Through workshops on campaign strategy, political communication, public speaking, message development, voter engagement, grassroots organizing, and both ground and digital campaigning, members learn how to present their platforms clearly and effectively in order to win hearts and minds.
Guidance for Aspiring Sangguniang Kabataan Candidate
Recognizing that many members aspire to serve their communities through the Sangguniang Kabataan, SULONG KABATAAN provides guidance and mentorship throughout the candidacy process for the upcoming 2026 SK Elections. The organization assists aspiring candidates in understanding election requirements, navigating the registration and filing process, preparing the necessary documents, and complying with electoral procedures.
Leadership and Governance Forums
The organization conducts Leadership and Governance Forums designed to develop ethical, competent, and service-oriented young Filipinos. Through discussions on public service, civic responsibility, good governance, and contemporary issues affecting the youth, participants gain the knowledge and values necessary to become active contributors to nation-building.
